COVID-19 Stimulus Checks Eligibility Breakdown
If you haven’t filed a 2018 Tax Return and do not receive social security
- You should file as soon as possible. The IRS will be using your information from either your 2018 or 2019 Tax return to determine if you are entitled to an “economic income payment”
If you haven’t filed your 2019 Tax Return
- The IRS will use your 2018 Tax return to determine your eligibility and amount.
If you have filed your 2019 Tax Return
- The IRS will use these numbers to determine your eligibility and amount.
If you receive Social Security or Disability
- You are eligible for coronavirus relief payments if your income does not exceed the limit. You do not need to file anything else. The IRS will be using information on your SSA-1099 and RRB-1099 to generate $1200 Economic Impact Payments.
Funds will be rolled out via direct deposit if your banking information is associated with your Tax Return, Paper checks will be mailed to those who do not have banking information on file. Direct Deposits should begin hitting Taxpayers accounts by April 17th; followed by Checks being mailed.
