Positions I’m Watching: RV Manufacturers

By: Stacey Nickens

The coronavirus crisis has made vacationing much more challenging. Many individuals have put travel plans on hold rather than go to an airport or get on a cruise. However, I believe that individuals will seek out new and safer ways to travel. For that reason, I have been watching positions in Winnebago and Thor Industries. Both companies manufacture RVs and would allow vacationers to travel without having to interact with many other people. Indeed, there were more wholesale shipments of RVs in June than there have been in nearly two years. Additionally, many of these purchases were completed by first-time buyers, suggesting more people have been pushed into the market due to the current crisis.
